School Curriculum Management

1.1 Primary Level (Gl-G6)


The beginning level of compulsory education which is emphasizing basic skills in reading, writing, and calculation, basic thinking skill, communication, social learning process, and basic human being, life quality development with completeness and balance in physically, intellectually, mentally, socially, and culturally with an emphasis on integrated learning management.




1.2 Lower Secondary Level (G7-G9)


The final level of compulsory education is emphasizing the learner's searching and discovery of their aptitude and likes. This level also promotes the development of their personalities, critical thinking skills, creative thinking skill, problem-solving skill, and life skill. The learner should learn how to use technology society. They should be well balanced in knowledge, idea, morality, and be proud of being Thai. These qualities are the foundation to advance their education or vocation.




1.3 Upper Secondary Level (G10-G12)


This level of education emphasizes the advancement of knowledge and specific area of knowledge and skills in response to learner's ability, aptitude, and interests as an individual both in academic and vocational fields. The learner should possess skill in using technology and other biology and advanced thinking process. They should be able to apply the knowledge in an effective way to advance their education or vocation and develop themselves and the country according to their roles. They can be leaders and public services providers to their community. The school provides three curriculum structures in accordance with students’ aptitude and interests as follow: 1. Chinese-English, 2. Math- Science, 3. Math-English.





2. Strands of learning

         We assign learning strands according to the curriculum which consists of knowledge management, learning skill, and students’ characteristics to strands as follow;

2.1 Learning Area of Thai Language


We set the learning activities to strengthen student's skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing and to support students to learn about Thai culture, Thai custom, and local culture as well as Thai literature and to be able to apply the acquired knowledge to use in Thai society and in daily life appropriately. 2.2 Learning Area of Mathematics


We set learning activities to strengthen students' skills in the calculation, problem-solving by using innovation, the modern technology of materials and to emphasize learning by thinking and doing, also self-problem solving by learning the process of Mathematics in learners’ full potentials, in order to;

  • Understand the diversity of number expression and application of number in real-life situations.
  • Be able to communicate and express mathematical interpretations.
  • Be able to solve the problems and give the reasons.
  • Be initiative and able to learn and present or communicate with other persons in both Thai and English.

2.3 Learning Area of Science and Technology


We set learning activities based on learners' interest, suspicion and aptitude with the mixture of science procedure and knowledge research, investigation, searching, conducting experiments and presentation of the result in order to learn, think, and understand what they have discovered as well as to be able to communicate on what has been learned. Also, the student will possess an ability to make a decision and to apply the knowledge they acquired to use in real-life situations with a scientific mind, morality, and values appropriately. 2.4 Learning Area of Socials Studies, Religion, and Cultures


We arrange learning activities to strengthen students in various aspects by providing the knowledge and emphasizing the development of students' skills through various procedures e.g. academic learning skill systematically. The students will be able to obtain the maximum benefits and be able to apply the knowledge in real-life appropriately. These subjects will also help instill the attitude and values relating to democracy and personhood e.g. realizing the responsibility, self-reliance, loyalty and honest, good discipline, gratitude, self-sufficiency, seeing values on works, being analytic, respect for other people's rights, nationalism, conserving and developing Arts, Culture and the environment as well as having faith in their religion and democracy system under a constitutional monarchy. 2.5 Learning Area of Health and Physical Education


We have designed learning activities for students to learn and understand health education for healthy living. This subject will focus on health promotion and sustainable development of quality of life in individual, family, and community. Health Education will assist students to develop learning behavior, aptitude, moral, values regarding health and the conduct of health care, while Physical Education will center on physical activities, exercises, game playing, and sport skills which will promote physical, mental, emotional, social, and intellectual development along with fitness for sports and health. 2.6 Learning Area of Arts


In learning of Art, we emphasize the student to think initiative and creatively. Also, they will be able to present their artworks created from their imagination and to learn with satisfaction and fun as well as interest in the surrounding nature, the heritages of art, local wisdom, Thai wisdom, and international wisdom. In learning Thai classical music, we support the students to learn international music, Thai music and Thai classical music which emphasize on expression in Thai ways with integrated learning strands. 2.7 Learning Area of Career


We emphasize on development of the students, so they can understand about the factors that related to the living and existence of life, family e.g. career, design, production, and technology, etc. by emphasizing on skills in working, occupation, management, searching for knowledge, selecting the appropriate information technology. Be able to work tactically. Build or develop the products by using the knowledge base of the Project. Learning Area of Career and Technology Teachers




2.8 Learning Area of Foreign Languages


2.8.1 English The learning activity of English is based on practicing and effective communication in both internal and external classroom with the integration of learning both Thai cultures. The students will be able to learn and to practice the skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing appropriate to the education level, age, and potential of the students. ​English Teachers 2.8.2 Chinese The students will be able to learn directly from Chinese teachers with the right principles and cultural language. We arrange the curriculum according to the ability of the students and develop from the basic to the highest level which all activities are emphasized on grouping by the students' abilities. ​Chinese Teachers 2.8.3 Fourth Language In the coming era of the ASEAN Community, the fourth language becomes more popular for communication across Asia. Our foreign language strands have planned to establish the fourth language course and source the quality teachers for those potential learners.





1. Educational Levels

          Sunflower Trilingual School has been running an English Program under the law and regulations of Ministry of Education. In 2009, we became one of the leading schools who were participating in a project on implementation of Basic Education Core Curriculum of B.E. 2557 (2014). The education is divided into 3 levels as follows.
